Its basic principle is to kill bacteria using the heat of steam, the thermal effect of microwaves, and the biological action of microwaves. Microwaves affect the electron and ion density around the bacterial cell membrane, altering permeability and killing pathogens.
2. From a biochemical perspective, microwaves cause hydrogen bonds in RNA and DNA to loosen and break, inducing genetic aberrations that prevent bacterial reproduction. This dual-action electromagnetic and biological effect ensures comprehensive sterilization.
